About Me

Hello!

I am a few months to travel between work and Grad School. Backpacking Europe 30.9- 03.12 (Norway- Portugal)

Looking to make friends along the way.

I’m Parker, a peaceful 31-year-old from Whidbey Island, WA. I’m passionate about geography, travel, culture, food, music and hiking.

I have a geography undergraduate from University of Oregon and am planning to go to grad school for coastal community regional development at University Centre of the Westfjords. I live in a renovated ambulance on an island off the coast of Seattle and try to maintain a simple life. It does not take much to be happy.

I love connecting with people from all over the world, sharing stories, and learning about different ways of life. Couchsurfing, to me, isn’t just about a free place to stay, it’s about building connections and creating memories.

I am easy going and try to lead with kindness.

I do not take up much space and would be grateful for any suggestions on how to enjoy time in your city.

"The purpose of life is to enjoy every moment"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can only surf at this time, but when I get back to Seattle I will be opening my house up for surfers, I have seen the kindness of couch surfing and want to give back to the community.

As a guest, I will respect your space and house rules.

Interests

Being kind and peaceful.

Nutrition, education, fitness and outdoor recreation are my main interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think out of all the things I’ve seen, Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the most surreal. I also really enjoy solar eclipses, I’ve seen 2 and have the 2026 and 2027 ones on my calendar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have time to explore with me, I can always provide fuel for adventures or food from a local restaurant.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Jamaica, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
