ABOUT ME

We are Destanny (24, vegetarian) and Matthijs (25). We are friends for about one year. We met through our passion for drinking and playing silly boardgames.

About Destanny: I move and travel a lot. I lived in many places in Holland and traveled through Europe (France, Italy, Hungary, Spain), USA (Michigan) and Asia (India, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand). I guess if i stay for too long in one place it makes me kinda restless. I always want to see new things, new people, new streets, new trees, smell other smells... That is why i started my study journalism. I hope i can find my perfect job that combines traveling & writing. What else? Poetry, Shakespeare (if music be the food of love, play on!), Sarah Kane (Have you ever thought, thought your heart would break? Wished you could cut open your chest and tear it out to stop the pain?), writing letters; love letters, happy letters, sad letters, any kind of letter! One of my great love letter examples:

About Matthijs: I'm a 25 year old student from Holland with a passion for music. In my spare time I like to hang around with friends combining my love for music and cheap beer and wine by jamming in the sun. Since I also enjoy new experiences and meeting new people, this summer I'd like to see a lot of Europe and meet as many of the people from the couchsurfing community as possible!

兴趣

Music, playing drums (Matthijs), bowling (up for a match? But be aware, we are really good! Euhh...), traveling (especially through India), sunshine & hapiness, reading books (or does that sound too boring?), grass & bare feet, LOVE, ice cream, sleeping to dream, picking flowers although you know they look much nicer in the field...

Oh.. And we like Wodka! :)
