About Me
Hey there! I'm a 22-year-old male from TN, USA, and I’ve spent all my life here. I love to learn about the history and development of different places around there world.
I like to cook (well, at least trying to cook, but hey, it’s the thought that counts!), I’m a big fan of tea and coffee, and I can never resist a good movie or some quality music!!
When I’m not studying or working, I’m usually like to run or go rock climbing or play ping pong / basketball with some friends! I also will play some games like FIFA with friends at home :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always like something new lol. If every day is the same I unfortunately get bored easily.
I’m new to Couchsurfing, but I figured it’s the perfect opportunity to meet people around the world.
I’ve will be traveling to difference places across the world for the next year for studies. I have not been able to travel much so I would love to meet up with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ooo these are hard questions ...
This is tough because my taste in music and movies really depends on the vibe I’m feeling and the people I’m with. My friends at university are from all over the U.S., so I’ve gotten into a little bit of everything!
In terms of music, I guess:
Pop EDM (Illenium, Gryffin)
Indie (for a lack of better term) vibes (Noah Kahan, Hoizer, Of Monsters and Men)
Pop (Khalid, Lauv)
Hip-Hop
A bit of country here and there, depending on the day
K-pop (thanks to my girlfriend – she is a pretty hardcore fan (she can do the dances and all) so I am also by proxy haha)
For movies, I’ll always say yes to a good fantasy – Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones – you name it. But I also love a good action-comedy-mystery movies. Some favorites are Shawshank Redemption, Citizen Kane, and, of course, anything that keeps me at the edge of my seat.
As for TV, I just went through the whole Vampire Diaries series (yep, all 8 seasons – whatever makes my girlfriend happy, it actually was pretty decent), Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, and Brooklyn 99. Some K-dramas I am a fan of include Vincezo, My Name, and Flower of Evil being some of my faves.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few months back, my friend and I decided to escape the hustle of urban life for a stargazing adventure. Being from an urban city in the South U.S., we don’t exactly have the clearest skies for stargazing, so we pulled up a light pollution map for the U.S., found a place with absolutely nothing nearby (literally, it was called Wilderness, Missouri), waited for a new moon, clear skies, and we drove up to St. Louis with a telescope and made a pitstop at Ozark National Park for a night of celestial exploration and camping.
Well, we weren't disappointed haha. We got to see the Milky Way and even managed to capture the rings around Saturn on our cameras (if we meet, I can show you)! The excitement kept us up so late that before we knew it, the clock read 5 AM. We figured, why go to back to the campgrounds at this point, and instead, we ended up tracking down a waterfall, had a bowl of Lucky Charms (not sure if that’s international, but they’re a pretty solid cereal), and just enjoyed the serenity of the night!!
Afterward, we went to St. Louis, slept in the back of our car (which, pro tip – is not that bad honestly! Just throw a couple of comfy blankets and a few pillows in the back and it’s like a little cozy bed on wheels).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Always love a good conversation!
I of course would love to take you out for a meal. I can be out of the space by 8-9 AM each day and can stay out till late evening (I will gladly go to a cafe / coffee shop). I can sleep on a couch, floor, or can always get a sleeping bag. I do need access to a bathroom. I will clean up after myself and respect any house rules
I also can offer the gift of everlasting friendship I hope :)
