Learn Russian - a whole life is not enough!
I'm 24 years old, I'm Italian from Verona (Romeo and Juliet, you know?) and I studied Foreign languages for international trade (German e Russian) at the University. In 2014 I worked as an employee in a german company in Berlin, saved money and after a period of EVS volunteering with kids in Russia in Yoshkar-Ola (Rep. Mari-El) this year,
I'm NOW on a trip from Italy to Asia: went by bus through Europe, by train through all Russia to Vladivostok and then by train through China from Harbin to Hong Kong. Next stops are Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and India... stay tuned for more news :)
I really like travelling, discovering new things and different ways of living, visiting new places and meet new people. When I travel it's not only about sightseeing, is more like experiencing how people live in different parts of the world, so i like to get in the routine of my couchsurfers!
My dream is to make a tour around Iceland because I think that its nature and landscapes are the best in the world. There's a long list of things I'd also like to do: a coast to coast in the USA, see the magnificent Grand Canyon, going by car from Italy to Istanbul through the Balkans, visit Latino America...
I'm an easy and outgoing person, I like staying with friends and having fun with them. I don't like discos so much, I prefer parties or just a beer in a pub!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I participate in Couchsurfing hosting and surfing. I hosted a lot of people when I lived in Berlin. When I travel I always try to find a Couchsurfer in town, not only for budget reasons, but because I like meeting a local that gives you from the first moment his feedbacks about the city!
I'm now travelling in this big trip and it wouldn't be the same without Couchsurfing - probably I wouldn't travel alone without it. So let's say CS is a necessary part of my travels!

Main interests are foreign languages, geography, history and geopolitics. So if we are going to meet we are probably going to speak about one of this topic, I'm interested in the situation of the countries I visit so I hope you will have a lot to tell!
But I do not only like that, I like speaking about food, cause actualy I like both cooking and eating, maybe we will have the possibility to cook something together.
I like of course reading and watching movies, could share my ideas for long time, and taking pictures with my Nikon (trying to get better!).
And finally I love football and my football team in Italy, Chievo Verona!
Music, Movies, and Books
I usually listen to rock music, Muse is my favourite band (the only one that deserved to go to a concert!), but I like also other bands and other types of music. What I don't like: techno, electro, house, even if I already ended up in a club where all people danced like zombies listening to one of these kind of songs (apparently, the only ones in Berlin!).
I'm open to read almost every kind of book, even if I prefer the realist ones, like historic novels or travel books (two names: Arthur Schniztler and Oriana Fallaci). Nevertheless, one of my favourite book is The Lord of the Ring: a masterpiece.
I really like cinema: above all adventure, sciencefiction, action, historical, war films, but also horror and thriller. I hate american comedies. Some titles: Children of Men, Inglorious Basterds and again The Lord of the Rings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most incredible moments of my travels are usually simple moments, when I simply realize how amazing is to have the possibility to live them.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can do the usual things couchsurfers do: we can teach our language, we can cook our food, we can speak about our lifestyles, our ideas about the world, our dreams, we can tell each other about past, present and future travels.
Everything's so normal, but so amazing!
