In my native tongue, my name "Pastiria" means destined to be happy and I make that my personal conquest everyday.

I try to do as much traveling as/when I can. I'd like to think I take comfort in being outside my comfort zone. Saying that, I like all things foreign. I am open to everything and would attempt everything at least once.

I love the exchanging of ideas over drinks on a quiet night but I also love partying till dawn. Basically, the average extremist. Haha!

I'm easy going and it'd be out of my character to disrupt your daily routine.

When I'm not traveling, I spend most of my time working with animals. I mainly foster cats and mediate between stray cats and the community that I live in.

Other than that, I can't survive without reading. In a way, that's traveling to me. Back and forth through times and dimensions. In and out of the inner crevices of people's minds and hearts. Everyday is a learning journey for me.

Music is another big part of my life. I work as a live sound technician and I'm a huge fan of festivals!

When it comes to traveling, I have to say I don't care about how many countries I've been to or stamps I've collected on my passport. I don't believe in borders and I find it a shame that nationalities should divide us. If you feel the same, we should hangout!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been more conventional when making friends and hosting but I made a promise to a friend that I'd try this out for the rest of my trip here in Europe. Best thing to have happened really. (Bless all the kind souls I've met!)
