Hi, my name is Patrick and I'm currently living in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and spending some time getting to know the Irish side of my family. I work remotely as a writer and in April I'll be starting as a guide for a tour company, taking a bunch of young, fresh-faced travellers around Europe for the summer. I used to work as an expedition leader and outdoor educator with high school kids and I love, love, love the outdoors and hiking and small pubs to tell stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked across Spain on the Camino a few years ago and while it's not really that unique, it was one of the most incredible and rewarding trips I've ever done. Wine and walking and weird people – what's not to love?
