I'm a father to 3 sons who I was a stay-at-home dad with for 12 years.
I'm easy going, open-minded, funny.
I'm personable, respectful, good, I think.
I'm transparent, sometimes naive, always idealistic.
I'm fun but not in the same way with everybody.
I'm real.
I'm hoping to find good company, and to meet new people.
I'm trying to expand my community by becoming a member of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because becoming homeless is inevitable. It took just four years to undo all those that came before.
Even the solutions I thought might work took down a little more.
I'm exhausted.
I don't cling to hope.
I don't care if I care anymore.
Nothing I wanted to manifest ever did, or was.
Only what was needed.
Apparently I need this.

I work as hard as anyone. In some cases I work harder, I do.
I just don't move forward, so its hard to tell.
It can feel I'm stuck in stuck.

I don't know how to change that, and no one showed me how.
Some people say it's my choice, and exclusively my doing. If they asked they'd know it isn't. Doesn't matter because no one does.
I'll be homeless in 2 days.

I have no family to provide support, no friends with the time, or means. They've been slowly fading away.
So have I.
Most don't know what to do with someone like me, or what to say.
I'm the same.
All that's changed is where I sleep.
I sleep in a tool shed.
I don't know where I'll sleep next week.
I don't know how I got here.
I'm wondering why I was allowed to.
I wonder why no one helps, and why a stray dog in this town is more likely to be taken in, and given shelter, than me.
I'm wondering if I might spend one night with you?
