Hi! I'm Pat, currently a student studying for my engineering degree and officership in the U.S. Navy. Irish and English descent, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Big sports fan, along with playing rugby and swimming for my college currently. While attending the Merchant Marine Academy, I also pursue my unlimited 3rd mate license, requiring I travel on a ship during the summer months around the world. This plays very well with me being a big time traveler. From Europe, Africa, and South America, I can say for a 21 year old student I have some awesome traveling experiences, as well as some salty sea stories.

As a solo traveler, I tend to get lost often in some cities. Signed up for couch surfer more for the meeting of people and seeing there hometowns from a locals perspective. I know It can be very different, coming out of New York, many travelers get stuck in the wrong areas where they miss tons of the local atmosphere. Friends and new places is why I am on Couch surfing without a doubt.
