ABOUT ME

Laid back, quiet, curious, open-minded, and adventurous. I live in New York City, and I'm currently working in clinical research. I studied engineering and graduated in 2013 but am off to Chicago in August for medical school. In the meantime, trying to enjoy life and experience as much as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fairly new to this! I tried it out in 2014 while I was in Belgium and had a great experience. I think this is a great way to meet new people, hear new stories, and see new cities.

Interessen

Love to read, play soccer, ski, watch Netflix, hike, listen to music, walk around cities, and hang out with friends. Bars of course too.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Pretty diverse taste. For music there's not really a genre I don't like. Currently listening to the new Passion Pit album if that helps.

Movies are kinda the same deal, but I tend to avoid anything that's too dark (for example my friend recently tried to get me to watch Fargo and I couldn't do it)

For books, I'm currently reading the Sixth Extinction, and I do enjoy a lot of non-fiction, but I also love fiction (recently read the Gold Finch) and fantasy (one of my guilty pleasures are the Kingkiller Chronicles and I just read The Magicians).

I like to think I cook a mean pad thai. I like to read so I suppose I occasionally know interesting facts? But I suppose this one is probably subjective. Also I'm generally just open-minded/flexible/love to do new things -- always down for an adventure.
