CURRENT MISSION

After living in Burlington, VT for all of my 25 years, my girlfriend & I took off and drove around the country for 3 months armed with a national parks pass, a network of good friends, and a mission to meet new & fascinating people.

ABOUT ME

I love to meet new folks and talk movies, music, travel, and nostalgia. I just took a three month trip around the country with my girlfriend, visited 33 states, 9 National Parks, tons of friends & relatives, as well as plenty of new buddies.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to maintain a very positive attitude (I've been called Positive Pat on more than one occasion) and generally think that if I can make someone smile, laugh, or have any sort of helpful effect then I've done well. I love stepping back and trying to see the humor in situations, the good in people, and have fun while doing it all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best CouchSurfers: Flavio & James, best-buddies from Zurich and Sydney, respectively, stayed in Burlington after having passport issues at the Canadian border. And from then on the fun didn't stop - drinking, eating bagel sandwiches, going to swimming holes, & most importantly non-stop laughter.
