¡Hola a tod@s! Somos Patri y Marcos, una pareja de españoles con ganas de conocer mundo (y en proceso de ello). Nos conocimos en nuestra ciudad, hace más de 6 años y desde ese entonces no hemos dejado querer de viajar y de conocer mundo. En septiembre del 2018, decidimos salir de nuestra zona de confort, renunciando a nuestros empleos en España para poner rumbo a Australia. Allí trabajamos durante un año mientras aprendíamos inglés, y tuvimos la gran oportunidad de viajar por el Sudeste Asiático con la mochila a cuestas (¡una maravilla de experiencia!). Finalmente volvimos a España, y tras dos años de terminar formación universitaria mientras trabajabámos, queremos conocer Latinoamérica y vamos para allá a finales de octubre sin fecha de regreso. Actualmente vivimos en España, en la capital de la Comunidad de Castilla y León, Valladolid, región de vinos y buena comida, donde Patri trabaja como profesora de física y química, y Marcos trabaja como becario en un despacho de abogados pero hemos trabajado en otros sectores como la hostelería, call center... Aunque nunca hemos utilizado esta plataforma hasta ahora, ya que la mayoría de las veces hemos usado House Sitting, todo el mundo nos ha hablado maravillas de experiencias que han compartido y queremos ser parte de esta comunidad :-)

Hi everyone! We are Patri and Marcos, a Spanish couple who want to travel around the world (in process of doing so). We met in our city, more than 6 years ago and since then we have not stopped traveling the world. In September 2018, we decided to get out of our comfort zone, quitting our jobs in Spain to head to Australia. We worked there for a year while we learned English at the same time, and we had the great opportunity to travel around Southeast Asia with our backpack in tow (a wonderful experience!). We finally returned to Spain, and after two years of finishing university training while we were working, we want to get to travel around Latin America and we go there at the end of October with no return date. We currently live in Spain, in the capital of the Community of Castilla y León, Valladolid, a region of wines and good food, where Patri works as physics and chemistry teacher, and Marcos works as intern in a law firm but we have worked in other sectors such as the hospitality, call center ... Although we have never used this platform until now, because we have used House Sitting, everyone has spoken to us wonders of experiences they have shared and we want be part of this community :-)

Porque creemos que la mejor manera de conocer un lugar, es conociendo y compartiendo con la gente que vive allí. Nos encanta conocer nuevas personas, aprender sobre diferentes culturas, disfrutar de la belleza que este mundo nos ofrece y hacer de nuestros viajes una experiencia transformadora de vida. Because we believe that the best way to get to know a place is by knowing and sharing with the people who live there. We love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, enjoying the beauty that this world offers us, and making our trips a life transforming experience. Music, Movies, and Books

Películas: Amamos ver todo tipo de películas, excepto las de terror. Una recomendación: Capitán fantástico
Música: Nos gusta escuchar un poco de todo, sobre todo si desprende buen rollo como el techno o reggae. Nos encanta escuchar música local que nos han enseñado compañeros de viaje de todo el mundo.
Libros: Nos encantan los libros de desarrollo personal, emprendimiento, minimalismo y finanzas personales, aunque también leemos mucho para complementar nuestras respectivas formaciones. Algunos de nuestros libros favoritos son "El alquimista" de Paulo Coelho, "Siddharta" de Hermann Hess o "Los renglones torcidos de Dios", de Torcuato Luca de Tena.

Movies: We love watching all kinds of movies, except horror movies. A recommendation: Captain Fantastic
Music: We like to listen to a little of everything, especially if it gives off good vibes like techno or reggae. We love listening to local music taught by fellow travelers from all over the world.
Books: We love books on personal development, entrepreneurship, minimalism and personal finance, although we also read a lot to complement our respective training. Some of our favorite books are "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho, "Siddharta" by Hermann Hess or "The twisted lines of God", by Torcuato Luca de Tena.
