About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Broaden my perspective while trying to get a foothold on life.

ABOUT ME

That I'm outgoing, goofy, and always searching for an adventure. I am head of the Binghamton University ski racing team, and during winter, I am on the slopes any chance I get. I've played tennis all my life and played for my schools team during freshmen year. I'm studying Industrial Engineering, "engineering" they told me, "go engineering, there are jobs there" so that's what I'm doing.
I absolutely love meeting new people, which sounds cliche, but I lack the creative means to spice this very accurate phrase up. I have met some of my greatest friends from talking to "strangers" while waiting on line to get a burger, or riding on a bus. At times where it is incredibly easy to mind your own business and keep to yourself, it's hard to remember that everyone around you has a story, a life, and could maybe turn out to be your next best friend.

I surf, I laugh, I ski,
I'm pretty fucking happy
Give me a call, give me a ring
You might get to hear me sing
I suck at poems
They send bad omens
said no one ever.

PHILOSOPHY

"A ship is safe in the harbor, but that's not what ships are built for"
After a few glasses, I'd love to dive into philosophy, but as I'm sitting here on the couch in the mid-afternoon, this ship poem is all I can muster.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, and hope to do quite a bit of it this coming summer. My couch is open to everyone, can't see why anyone would come to this uneventful town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed before, but have heard great things from some great people I've met.

Interests

Alpine skiing, tennis, hiking, surfing, piano, and recently French. I've taken a few years of French in High School, but it seems I have not retained any of that. I've been motivated to take it up again after having some incredible encounters with French-speaking Montrealians.

Music, Movies, and Books

http://open.spotify.com/user/1253491122/playlist/0EGBd3ZJxf9h0g1ZSbQvDw

Here's a spotify playlist I particularly like. But to name some of my tops, here you go: Mumford and Sons, Simon and Garfunkel, Mraz, Maroon 5, Billy Joel, T-Swizzle. I'm also a fan of Jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As corny as it sounds, the memories I can bring back most vividly and stick with me closest are of witnessing the sun set or rise while atop a mountain, or while laying on a beach. If there ever is a time to see everything for what it is, that's where it happens for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach piano, tennis, skiing (might be a bit tricky) and if you're in school, I just finished taking Calc 1 and 2, as well as 2 semesters of Physics.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United States, Virgin Islands, U.S.
