ABOUT ME

I'm just a simple guy that likes the little things in life. I got all the wild party desires out of my system during college, now I enjoy sitting around with friends and have a few drinks and good conversation.

I've lived abroad in Bolivia, Armenia, and Uganda I like spending a lot of time in one place and finding out where all the interesting places are you'll never see in a guidebook and knowing all sorts of people in the area.

I'm also an old man trapped in a young dude's body so I like to go to bed early so I can wake up early. If you're a big fan of the nightlife and want someone to show you all the hot clubs and bars I'm not your guy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS after moving into my own apartment in Martuni, Armenia. Lonely Planet calls Martuni a 'place struggling to hang on,' but living there for two years made me see it as one of the most vibrant and active small towns in Armenia and I tried to show others what I saw. I had a handful of people come through wanting to get off the tourist trail. They seemed to enjoy it, at least they enjoyed dinner I made for them.

I've been a Boy Scout all my life so my appreciation for the outdoors has grown every year. I enjoy easy things like walking around in the hills looking for things that I find interesting. Sometimes I'm in the mood for something more difficult and I'll get out my rock climbing gear and call a few friends up and go out for a day. As long as I'm outside and the weather cooperates I'm always having a good time.

I also learned recently I really enjoy cooking.
