ABOUT ME

Origninally I´m from Bavaria, but I moved to Hamburg for my studies two and a half years ago. And I definitely had luck with my decision, because I love this city!

I love travelling and seeing new places and I try to travel as many places as possible in one year.

Weekends I enjoy going out with my friends. I also like cinema, theatre, opera. Going for a walk in parks. Spending the whole night at my friend´s, sitting at the table in her kitchen and discussing everything. Hanging around at home, having pizza and a movie.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´m new on Couch Surfing and so far have no experience at all with it. But I have heard quite a lot about it lately, so I decided to give it a try.

Intereses

First of all, I´m interested in my study subjects, i.e. Islamic and Eastern European Studies. I like learning languages and getting familiar with the history of different countries very much.
I´ve been learning Russian and Arabic for five terms now - but, unfortunately, I´m still far from fluent (I mean really far!). But the goal is, of course, to speak them (and perhaps some more languages) perfectly one day.

Música, películas y libros

I love books! Although I think I like having books around me more than actually reading them. I tend to read a lot of magazines, too. My favourite novels are by Jane Austen and the Bronte Sisters and among them my favourites are "Jane Eyre" and "Vilette".

I like movies of all kinds, but especially romantic comedies. I also love Bollywood films and I have a weakness for American TV series.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One thing I did and which felt amazing to me, was to travel alone for the first time in my life - because then I knew that I can survive on my own!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I could teach some basic sentences in German or I could also teach how to make my mum´s pizza recipe or some specialty from South Germany.
