CURRENT MISSION

My main mission is to travel as much as i can, meet as many interesting people as possible and still combine it with living in my hometown with my good friends!! It's a hard job but somebody has gotta do it!!

ABOUT ME

Wow, all about me, that's a bit much... To give a short description, i'm a social therapist from the Netherlands. Specialised in Autism and Behavioural problems. But i guess you could say, travelling and seeing the world is an equally important part of my life. I cruised through australia, visited Asia and drove trhrougout Europe. My last long trip was by car fro the US to Peru and back!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first heard about CS from Sean, a crazy dude who was riding a bike from North to South America. It made me smile and seemed a brillinat way to meet people and to travel. So i decided to make a profile, it took me a while to actually participate. But now i've hosted and i'll definitely try to surf on my trip to the states this year!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my travels i met so many wonderful people i hosted some of them when they visited europe. It makes me smile to show them around, that's why i became a member of CS. When i travelled the US last year i stayed with several people i met during travels and it is such a great way to see the world!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing happening to me in life was when i decided to quit my job, get a work visum, sell my house and take off for a year to Australia, and all that in one week!

I've learned from travelling that al the stuff we think we need is in reality just stuff... You need way less, don't get to attached to stuff!!
