I originally hail from Middle America, but I have lived in Charlottesville for over two years now. I like to travel and meet different people.

I have a couch to offer, and if I'm free I'm happy to show people around. It's good to get to know people from all over.

I am interested in traveling, like most of us. I enjoy alot of music. Mostly Alternative Folk or Country, but I also can be caught listening to Classic Rock. I also like hiking, fishing, skiing, and other outdoor activities.

Hemmingway's books are some of the best I've read. I also enjoy history books. Lately I've been trying to get into foreign policy books which seem to help make sense of the news. I listen to a lot of podcasts, Radiolab, This American Life, Snap judgement. Fantastic. As far as movies go I like more indie movies that have good production value and with big names, so anything from Focus Features. Musical tastes include a lot of the folk rock bands of today and the previous generations. That's the Avett Brothers to Bob Dylan and even Johnny Cash.

My Euro trip in 2012 was a dream come true. I spent a month going from Barcelona to Italy, France, England, Scotland and Ireland. Way cool, and a lot of fun!
