I’m 56 years old and the father of three wonderful children: Pedro (25), Juan (21), and Lara (16).
I’m currently living temporarily in Buenos Aires, but I lived in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, for many years until I decided to start a more traveling and relaxed life after the pandemic.

My whole life I’ve worked in the world of cooking and hospitality, mainly in beautiful hotels and projects… but always within the hotel industry.
Currently, I’m a partner in a hotel real estate agency, a new venture we’re starting and a job I can do from anywhere. I’m also developing several consulting projects in hospitality, travel, and tourism.

Over the past few years, I’ve traveled to different places, enjoying life and working at the same time… sharing the same travel experiences with my children and many others.

My sons Pedro, Juan, and I discovered and used Couchsurfing during 2021 and 2022 on a wonderful trip that took us around the United States for 10 months. Using Couchsurfing was the most incredible and perfect thing we did on that journey. It was amazing because we met so many wonderful people who shared their homes and their time with us, and because of that, our adventure was truly different! We stayed in over 70 homes of extraordinary people who really made a difference… and that was simply wonderful!

I’m also trying to start developing a travel and lifestyle project for social media called "Tribu Argentina | experiencia nómade", which basically consists of finding ways to create content about travel, culture, gastronomy, and art through podcasts, talks, photos, videos, and stories. The essence of Tribu Argentina is to find Argentinians around the world who have stories to tell — about love, heartbreak, success, failure, whatever… simple stories, from simple people, that move us and deserve to be shared.
Tribu Argentina is just beginning to move from being an idea to becoming a project… this trip is also to inspire me and give it the shape it needs…

Pedro is a photographer, videographer, and musician… an artist!
Juan is a cabin crew member and works at a hotel while trying to take his first steps in an airline.
Lara is my youngest daughter… my princess! She is finishing high school and lives in Ushuaia with her mother. Next year she will start studying Psychology in Buenos Aires.

I’m a simple, very sociable, and kind person who adapts very well to any situation. My children are wonderful people too.

Besides traveling with my sons, I spent more than six months in Venezuela, traveled all over Argentina, and between the end of last year and the beginning of this one, Lara and I experienced the harsh Canadian winter and also spent Christmas and New Year’s in the United States.

Now I’m updating my profile because I’m about to start a solo trip through Turkey, India, some countries in Southeast Asia, and Egypt. I’ll begin in early September and finish in mid-November.

Tengo 56 años y soy padre de tres maravillosos hijos: Pedro (25), Juan (21) y Lara (16).
Actualmente resido temporalmente en Buenos Aires, pero viví en Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, durante muchos años hasta que decidí emprender una vida más viajera y relajada después de la pandemia.

Toda mi vida he trabajado en el mundo de la cocina y la restauración, principalmente en hoteles y proyectos de gran belleza... pero siempre en la industria hotelera.
Actualmente, soy socio de una inmobiliaria hotelera, un emprendimiento que estamos comenzando y un trabajo que puedo realizar desde cualquier lugar. También me encuentro desarrollando varios proyectos de consultoría en hotelería, viajes y turismo.

Durante estos últimos años, he viajado a diferentes lugares, disfrutando de la vida y trabajando a la vez... compartiendo las mismas experiencias de viaje con mis hijos y mucha gente.
Mis hijos Pedro, Juan y yo descubrimos y usamos Couchsurfing durante 2021 y 2022 en un hermoso viaje que nos llevó a recorrer Estados Unidos durante 10 meses. Usar Couchsurfing fue lo más increíble y perfecto que hicimos durante ese viaje. Fue increíble porque conocimos a mucha gente maravillosa que compartió sus casas y su tiempo con nosotros, y por eso, ¡nuestra aventura fue realmente diferente! Nos alojamos en más de 70 casas de personas extraordinarias que realmente marcaron la diferencia... ¡y eso fue simplemente maravilloso!

También estoy intentando empezar a desarrollar un proyecto de viajes y estilo de vida para redes sociales llamado Tribu Argentina | experiencia nómade, que básicamente consiste en encontrar maneras de crear contenido sobre viajes, cultura, gastronomía y arte, a través de un podcast, conferencias, fotos, videos y relatos. La esencia de Tribu Argentina es encontrar argentinos en todo el mundo que tengan historias para contar: de amor, desamor, éxito, fracaso, lo que sea... historias sencillas, de gente simple, que nos conmuevan y merezcan ser compartidas.
Tribu Argentina está empezando a pasar de ser una idea a un proyecto... este viaje también es para inspirarme y darle la forma que necesita...

Pedro es fotógrafo, videógrafo y músico... ¡un artista!
Juan es tripulante de cabina y trabaja en un hotel mientras intenta dar sus primeros pasos en una aerolínea.
Lara es mi hija menor… ¡mi princesa! Está terminando el secundario y vive en Ushuaia con su madre. El año que viene empezará a estudiar Psicología en Buenos Aires.

Soy una persona sencilla, muy sociable y amable que se adapta muy bien a cualquier situación. Mis hijos también son personas maravillosas.

Además de viajar con mis hijos, pasé más de seis meses en Venezuela, recorrí toda Argentina y entre fines del años pasado y principios de este año, Lara y yo experimentamos el duro invierno canadiense y también pasamos navidad y año nuevo en Estados Unidos.

Ahora me encuentro actualizando mi perfil porque estoy a punto de emprender un viaje en solitario por Turquía, India, algunos países del Sudeste Asiático y Egipto. Comenzaré a principios de septiembre y terminaré a mediados de noviembre.

I’m simply passionate about traveling and meeting local people… there’s no other way for me to think about a trip than this.
For me, traveling goes far beyond landscapes, cities, or nature... it’s the people who make it authentic and exciting.
Landscapes stay in our memory, but the moments we share with others stay in our hearts as unforgettable memories… and I truly believe they leave a mark on us forever!!!

I enjoy Couchsurfing because I love getting involved with local people, learning about their daily lives and customs in each place I visit.

I’m a very sociable, respectful, and above all deeply grateful person.
I love having conversations, enjoying a simple and delicious meal… and making new friends.
I always try to be “just another one” in the homes and families that welcome me... and I do my best to leave behind a warm memory of a new Argentine friend!

Simplemente me apasiona viajar y conocer gente local… no hay otra forma de pensar en viaje para mí que no sea de esta manera… ya que viajar va más allá de los paisajes, ciudades o naturaleza… es la gente la que lo hace auténtico y emocionante... los paisajes quedan en nuestra memoria, pero los momentos compartidos con otros quedan en nuestro corazón como recuerdos imborrables... y creo que nos marcan para siempre!!!

Disfruto Couchsurfing porque me gusta mucho involucrarme con la gente local, conocer su vida y sus costumbres diarias, en cada uno de los lugares que visito.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been fortunate to be able to work cooking in various parts of the world and they have always been incredible experiences.
I have also collaborated with my son's artistic career, accompanying him since he was start 16 years old and I had the pleasure of being able to organize him a tour of Argentina that was successfull and an amazing travel experience.
I don't know if I have done "incredible things" but I am a travel lover and traveling is incredible !!

He tenido la suerte de poder trabajar cocinando en varias partes del mundo y siempre han sido experiencias increíbles.
También he colaborado con la carrera artística de mi hijo, acompañándolo desde sus inicios a los 16 años y tuve el placer de poder organizarle una gira por la Argentina que fue un éxito.
