About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to find tiny slices of awesome anywhere I go.
ABOUT ME
I signed up for this seven years ago and am only now getting around to doing it? That's about right for me. I'm currently a student at Montana State University studying Mechanical Engineering with previous degree in Cultural Anthropology from James Madison University. Before that...or I guess between that? I worked with Boys & Girls Clubs and was an AmeriCorps VISTA for two years.
I'm an avid social dancer(doesn't mean good) and am currently focusing on Argentine Tango. However, nothing beats contra dancing. Also board games, board games are good times too. And exploring.
PHILOSOPHY
Always be on the search for something that most people don't know about. Going to tourist attractions is great and all, but I would much rather find some cool out of the way spot that few people and mostly only locals know about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately as of right now I cannot host until I can convince my housemate otherwise.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't actually couchsurfed outside of with people that I already knew, so I'm interested to gain some in this more...interesting fashion.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite author is Italo Calvino. I enjoy reading books on public health especially concerning infectious diseases because apparently I'm a dork...who knew(7 years later. Now it's mostly ghost/horror stories...soo about the same!). Musicwise I have Taylor Swift and Opeth on my mp3 player. I actually listen to everything. I have no taste in music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once in second grade I was desert hiking and camping with a group of people in the United Arab Emirates. We came across a nomad looking for a lost camel. This was pretty much the most amazing thing to happen in my life.
