I've freshly turned 30, but I have decided not to act too much on it. So, I no longer have the same need for party as a freshman, but on the other hand, I'm not aiming for a terraced house with kids of my own either... There's still places to see, people to know, and things to do. So here I am, at least close to finishing my M.A., tryin' to get out ;) Oh, and did I mention my love for motorcycling?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived with flatmates since I moved from my parent's home. I like to get to know people from all different kinds of backgrounds. Getting to see how people live as well as exchanging views and ideas has a big appeal to me. What better way than to stay with them? And of course, to keep the joy of travelling up and the costs low.

Interests

I like travelling, and being a language enthusiast helps a great deal with that. I'm also very, very sociable and eager-to-learn person. In my day-to-day freetime, I play the drums, as well as the flute (neat combo, right? :-p And if I'm not meeting up with people, I tend to see them online for a nice PC game or two.

Music, Movies, and Books

Apart from scientific journals and papers, I'm not much of reader, unfortunately. Well, ok, I read a lot of news (but that doesn't exactly count as prose either, does it ;)?
Music-wise, I listen to all kind of rock, indie and folk music, mostly a mixture of those. To give you an idea, that would entail AC/DC as well es Floggin' Molly, Mumford & Sons, Gaslight Anthem, and if I could only remember song names better...
Which brings us to Movies. Well, what can I say, they consume the bigger part of this section. My all-time favourites inlude the Tarantino collection, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Guy Ritchie Movies, and also Mafia movies.
