ABOUT ME

I'm an outdoor adventurer. We are often not at home because we are off playing. We love to show off Portland. Also, love to travel and experience other people and cultures. Enjoy connection through: intense conversations, climbing rock, dancing to the drums, jumping in swimming holes, giggling, drinking wine, sharing a meal and just being in the moment. I love life.

PHILOSOPHY

I look on the brighter side. I also think life should be inclusive and varied. I love people and try to be respectful and flexible of others. Life is short and worth experiencing while we can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We appreciate people and the exchange of ideas and cultures. We live in a great area with lots to do and see at our door step - including 2 bus lines.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In and around Italy - very educational. Also on a road trip to WY - great fun in Boise! Riding bikes in Amsterdam

bungie jumped in Australia, dove the blue hole, climbed kili, via ferrete in Italy, biked around Etna, ice climbed in Canmore, skinny dipped in Greece, scaled The Grand, danced to drums around the campfire, drank beer in the turquoises pool in Tobago and the adventures continue. No way I could pick just one....

I climb: rock, snow, alpine, ice. I know a great deal about climbing and hiking in the Pacific NW. Also into: ecstatic dance/ contact improv, sustainable building/living practices. Enjoy sharing and learning.

Part of my mission in life is to be authentic, respectful and curious of others. I also appreciate connection, collaboration and community. I enjoy experiencing local cultures and what better way to do that than to connect with people that live there.
