Queridos amigos de Couchsurfing,

Somos Lisandro y Patricia. Estamos emocionados de unirnos a la comunidad de Couchsurfing mientras planeamos nuestro primer viaje hacia al otro lado del charco. Somos una pareja sin hijos en común que ha decidido explorar el mundo y aprender de nuevas culturas y experiencias. Estamos muy interesados en conocer a gente local y compartir momentos únicos con ustedes.

Licha es periodista en un importante medio de comunicación en Córdoba, Argentina, y por otro lado, Patri es profesora de arte en un colegio secundario y su creatividad la ha llevado a emprender su propio negocio, @chulaminibags en Instagram, donde se puede ver su dedicación y pasión por el arte. Ambos estamos muy emocionados por conocer a otros artistas y creativos en Europa y enriquecernos de este intercambio cultural.

Nos encantaría compartir nuestras historias y conocimientos culturales con ustedes. Si estás dispuesto a acogernos en tu hogar, prometemos ser buenos huéspedes y respetar tu espacio y tus costumbres. También estamos dispuestos a ofrecer lo que podamos para hacerte sentir cómodo/a.

Dear Couchsurfing friends,

We are Lisandro and Patricia. We're excited to join the Couchsurfing community as we plan our first trip outside our continet. We are a couple with no children in common who have decided to explore the world and learn from new cultures and experiences. We are very interested in meeting local people and sharing unique moments with you.

Licha is a journalist at an important radio station in Córdoba, Argentina, and on the other hand, Patri is an art teacher at a secondary school and her creativity has led her to start her own business, @chulaminibags on Instagram, where you can see her dedication and passion for art. We are both very excited to meet other artists and creatives in Europe and enrich ourselves from this cultural exchange.

We would love to share our stories and cultural insights with you. If you are willing to welcome us into your home, we promise to be good guests and respect your space and customs. We are also willing to offer what we can to make you comfortable.

Con respecto a la música, es una de nuestras pasiones, y nos encanta descubrir nuevos artistas y estilos musicales. Nos encanta la música de diferentes épocas, desde los clásicos como Frank Sinatra y Elvis, hasta los artistas modernos como The Weekend. También somos grandes fans de la música electrónica.
Nos encantaría conocer más sobre la escena musical en tu ciudad y escuchar algunas recomendaciones de lugares para ver en vivo a artistas locales. Si hay algún evento de música electrónica en tu ciudad durante nuestra visita, ¡nos encantaría asistir y experimentar la escena en persona! Consideramos la música como una forma de conectarnos con la gente y la cultura local. :)
Y por último también disfrutamos mucho leer y de los documentales sobre culturas ancestrales, el cosmos y el origen del universo, así como todo lo relacionado con el espacio y la vida extraterrestre. Nos encanta explorar las diferentes teorías sobre cómo se formó el universo y cómo la vida podría existir en otros planetas.
Si tienes algún libro o documental que recomendar sobre estos temas, ¡nos encantaría conocerlos! Además, nos encantaría aprender más sobre las culturas ancestrales de tus raíces y cómo han influido en la sociedad actual. Creemos que comprender la historia y las creencias de diferentes culturas nos permite conectarnos y entender mejor a las personas que conocemos.
También nos encanta la naturaleza y hacer caminatas por la montaña. Disfrutamos de la tranquilidad y belleza del aire libre. Si tú también eres un amante de la naturaleza, sería genial si nos pudieras recomendar algunos lugares para visitar y hacer senderismo. ¡Nos encantaría compartir esta experiencia contigo también!

About music, it is one of our passions, and we love to discover new artists and musical styles. We love music from different eras, from classics like Frank Sinatra and Elvis, to modern artists like The Weekend. We are also big fans of electronic music.
We'd love to learn more about the music scene in your city and hear some recommendations for places to see local artists live. If there are any electronic music events in your city during our visit, we'd love to attend and experience the scene in person! We view music as a way to connect with the local people and culture. :)
And finally, we also really enjoy reading and documentaries about ancient cultures, the cosmos and the origin of the universe, as well as everything related to space and extraterrestrial life. We love exploring the different theories about how the universe came to be and how life could exist on other planets.
If you have any books or documentaries to recommend on these topics, we'd love to hear about them! Also, we would love to learn more about the ancestral cultures of your roots and how they have influenced today's society. We believe that understanding the history and beliefs of different cultures allows us to connect with and better understand the people we meet.
We also love nature and hiking in the mountains. We enjoy the quiet and beauty of the outdoors. If you are also a nature lover, it would be great if you could recommend us some places to visit and hike. We would love to share this experience with you too!

También queremos mencionar que somos grandes amantes de la comida y nos encanta cocinar. Lisandro es un experto en asados y se enorgullece de cocinar el famoso asado argentino, que es una de las comidas más populares y deliciosas en Argentina. Mientras tanto, Patricia se destaca en la preparación de ricas pizzas caseras , y las pastas que vienen de una especialidad italiana que ella ha aprendido a hacer de su abuela Sara.
Nos encantaría compartir estas deliciosas comidas con nuestros anfitriones, si les gusta la comida argentina, por supuesto. Sería un placer cocinar juntos y compartir historias sobre nuestros platos favoritos y cómo se preparan en diferentes partes del mundo.
Además de disfrutar de la comida, también nos encanta tomar un buen vino y compartirlo con nuestros anfitriones y amigos. Argentina es famosa por sus vinos y estamos emocionados de probar algunos de los mejores vinos locales. Si eres un amante del vino, ¡nos encantaría conocer tus recomendaciones y aprender más sobre los vinos locales!

We also want to mention that we are huge foodies and we love to cook. Lisandro is an expert in asados and prides himself on cooking the famous Argentinian Asado, which is one of the most popular and delicious meals in Argentina. Meanwhile, Patricia excels at preparing delicious homemade pizzas, and pastas that come from an Italian specialty that she has learned to make from her grandmother Sara de ella.
We would love to share these delicious meals with our hosts, if they like Argentinian food of course. It would be a pleasure to cook together and share stories about our favorite dishes and how they are prepared in different parts of the world.
In addition to enjoying food, we also love to drink a good wine and share it with our hosts and friends. Argentina is famous for its wines and we are excited to try some of the best local wines. If you are a wine lover, we would love to hear your recommendations and learn more about local wines!
For us, wine is a way to connect with the culture and people of the place we are visiting. We love sharing our stories and learning from other people's stories while enjoying a nice glass of wine together.
