I'm currently an au pair from Germany, I'm 22 years old and live in Florida! I moved to Florida in August and I'm leaving in June. I'm really sad but excited too because I'm going to start a new chapter in my life I'm Germany. I'll study eventmanagment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because this year abroad made me really open minded and confident and I found out that I really like to meet new people and talk to them. I like to listen to their stories they can tell. It's really interesting and sometimes incredibly funny! And with some I'm still in contact!

Interests

Back in Germany I played volleyball for 9 years but I still love to play beach volleyball here when I have the time and when there is a beach around! I'm going to the gym a lot because after a work day with kids you need to calm down and this is my best way to get relaxed.

I also love to learn new languages so my goal is it to start with a 3rd language when I'm back in Germany and start to study.

I love traveling a lot and my next big trips are autralia and south Africa.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to music especially when I'm driving or do work outs. I'm really open to music, so I hear almost everything!

I love reading! So I can tell that I start a new book every week or two weeks. It is just an awesome feeling to be in your own world for just a moment and far away from all stressful daily routine.

All the movies with Jennifer Aniston, Ann Hathaway or Blake Lively are awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my year I traveled a lot. I've been to Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Canada, Boston, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, Texas. I also have been Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Sylt, Bulgaria, Slowenia, Poland

Teach, Learn, Share

Every time when I met people they always say something in German to me and they alway wanted that I teach them. And I do and it makes me happy when they still knew what I taught them the next time we met! So I definitely can teach you some German if you're interested and I would like to learn something about your language!
