Romanian-born, American-raised, and now seeking out high adventure throughout the rest of the world.

I am increasingly aware of how I do not have "spare" time, we all simply have time, and what we do with it.

I like to run, swim, bike, and also enjoy climbing (via ferrata), kayaking, and solving puzzles.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music depends on the context, though I have several good go-tos in the down-tempo electronic beat scene: Wax Tailor, Medl4, Dauwd, Yppah, Gramatik, Bonobo.

I also enjoy drum and bass: Netsky, Artificial Intelligence, and E-Z Rollers. And other misc. bands in no particular order: Air, Younger Brother, Shpongle, Santigold, MSRA, Ben Folds, and Gipsy Kings.

Movies: Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels (hands-down favorite), Au Revoir Les Enfants, Joyeux Noël, Tarsem Singh's The Fall, any Discovery documentary, Objectified.

Books: East of Eden, Goedel, Escher, Bach, Le Petit Prince, Vagabonding, The Jungle Books
