I love to travel to new places, to experience new friends, to eat new foods, to walk about new places. I recently returned from 6 mos. in Thailand where I return each year to continue my yoga studies at the Agama School. When I have a home I focus on my art. In Port Townsend, where I lived for 20 years, I was part of a cooperative printshop and could make etchings. This was such a gift. I love to paint and draw, garden veges and herbs. I worked professionally as a chef for some time. Now I prepare herbal tonics, tinctures , and salves. I find the cost of traveling becoming prohibitive, and happy to find couch surfing. When I decide what will be my home, I will then open it to others to stay with me as well. Now I am searching for where I would like to have a home. I spent 20 years in the Northwest and now want a place that has more sunshine and at least a warm summer. I am single and looking for a new home and perhaps a new relationship. When I travel, I am on a budge.I am generally traveling alone as well. I also enjoy going to Hostels because I meet people to hang out with, see the sights and eat meals. This couch surfing sounds pretty interesting in that I will meet locals and be able to stay within my budget. Then I can travel longer. I am willing and able to help out who ever allows me to stay with them. This will also allow me to get insight into the area I am staying in

I have many interests. I am kinesthetic and love hiking, walking the cities, viewing art in galleries and museums. I love to eat out, learning about the food of other cultures. I worked as a chef and enjoy trying new ideas in food. I enjoy gardening, hiking, doing yoga and dancing. I love to learn the dances of other cultures. I love free form, ecstatic dancing, and dancing to local bands. I paint and make prints (primarily etchings, requiring a press). When I have a home place I enjoy gardening and growing vegetables and herbs- which I turn into teas, tinctures, and much more. I am taking an herbal course with Rosemary Gladstar. I do Reiki and other healing modalities. and not last, nor least, I love to study yoga. I love the depth of the subject and going deeper and deeper.
