HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I tried couch surfing was through a friend… we couch-surfed several years ago now in the caribbean side of Mexico :) …it was AMAZING I couldn't believe how generous the people were! It's heartwarming… For a few years now I've been hosting and 'surfing' and have met some remarkable ones. I try to be wise on my choosing… I look for people with whom I feel we can both enjoy each other's company … RESPECT is very important. :)

Interests

I'm very interested in cultures in general …lately I've been quite keen on Japan actually I like learning a little bit of different languages …any language listening to stories of different travel experiences, cultures, people I love the arts in general I like history, anthropology, physics in general… theoretical, quantum, astrophysics I'm very interested in indigenous cultures, food, music, literature, animals, documentaries mmmm and many things more :)

Music, Movies & Books

I enjoy reading poetry… I like books and journals, I always carry a journal with me to write on and I'm trying to be good at bookbinding :) I like to read about anthropology, cosmology, travel stories, art… and countless topics :) Julio Cortazar, Jaime Sabines, John Keats, Tolstoy, Anais Nin, Bukowski, Dickens, Carl Sagan…

I love watching documentaries… I enjoy nature documentaries, political ones, science… mm those that show the cultures of different places :) I like it when a film or a book or anything I give my attention to… stimulates my thoughts and/or my feelings I also like movies of course … and music oh music… ♥

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Having lived in different indigenous communities in my country Mexico has definitely been something amazing that's changed my life, my perception of life, my everything... every culture is unique... in each I've seen wonderful things I've marveled to and I still hold preciously with me, and rough things also that are hard to deal with and in a way feels like have broken my spirit at many times... From this I've grown much I think... this experiences developed my sense of awareness, compassion, amusement, solidarity, love, character, spirituality.... and many other levels of myself

Varanassi... every moment in Varanassi was amazing... one particular was the ceremony at night by the ganges, it was full of life, beautiful... very special country, really magical (like Mexico ! )

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning a little bit of different languages so if you know any other language aside from spanish or english I'm very interested in that :)

I'd enjoy learning a little bit of different dances, or disciplines of art… such as music, sculpture… even in theory… or history, physics, crafts…

I can share mexican cooking skills :) drawing, painting, illustration and design… mm don't know you can always ask, I'm sure I can do much more and am interested in much more as well… :)
