ABOUT ME

We're two girls (Patricia 24(left), Julia 26(right)) currently studying and living in Mainz (Southwest of Germany). We became friends in the first week of our master's programme (corporate communication). Maybe because we share our love for good food, beer and wine and music (festivals). But maybe it was because we both had unwittingly done our bachelor's in the university of Passau and there is a special connection between people who studied in that little bavarian town, far away from any civilization ;-)

Anyway, now our master's programme has (almost) come to an end, Patricia will move in with her boyfriend in Munich and we want to celebrate the good times we have had by traveling together. Fate has decided (the coin has flipped) and we are coming to Scotland!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Julia) have had two great couch surfing experiences in South America (Peru). The first time me and a friend stayed with a nice couple who had time to show us their favorite café in town. The second time, we didn't spend much time with the "couch owners", but they were still nice and we had a great time!

Interests

We love music and going to festivals. We also like traditional festival in Germany (see carnival picture above) or any country we go to. We like traveling and our ideal journey is when we meet local people and get to know the culture. We travelled in South East Asia, (South) America, spent both a longer period of time abroad (Spain (Patricia), Kenya and Ecuador (Julia)) and love to explore new cultures.
