I am 24, originally from Latvia but recently moved to Copenhagen to study Architecture.
I am very social and usually am having meaningful conversations or pulling off stupid jokes. But most of all I am an optimist and I try to see the best in everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are two ways to travel. First is to read a guide and then retrace the steps of previous travelers. The second is to couchsurf, meet new people and experience the unique. And I believe in both ways!

Interests

I have an insanely broad array of interests - one day I can be glued to my computer screen researching volcanoes or binge-watching the entire Alien franchise , the next day I might be bar crawling or visiting art museums.
Also travelling - love this one. I try to go somewhere nice a couple of times a year.
Not much of a team sports guy, but I am involved in some extreme sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music and movies I love all things 80's. From synth pop to metal, from Die Hard to Blade Runner. Have you seen Kung Fury? If not, look it up on YouTube - it is perfect!
As there are no good 80's books that I have heard of, my favorites are classical ones - Jack London, Edgar Allan Poe, Oscar Wilde and others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a Safari in Kenya for three days with a local guide. And I managed to shoot the entire BIG FIVE with my Canon EOS camera - the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard, and White/Black rhinoceros. Those animals are amazing! The pictures came out shitty though.
