About Me
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia but have lived in the US and China, currently on a six-month backpacking trip and living in Berlin.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After travelling extensively, I've come to think that even the coolest and hippest youth hostels start to look pretty similar. I'm on Couchsurfing for the same reason I first booked a hostel, travelled and lived overseas on my own; for the adventure, for the unexpected and to see things for myself. Taking the time to travel slowly and live away from home has taught me I love to discover the little mundane bits and pieces that makes life all around the world similar and yet different.
Mustering the courage to make the first step has helped me more as a person than I ever could have known at the time. Couchsurfing is the next step :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like writers more than books, and I dig different styles at different times; past favourites include Haruki Murakami, Cormac McCarthy, Isaac Assimov, etc
There is no bad music!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked from the bottom of Mt Fuji, camped overnight at 8th station and watched the sunrise from the summit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Clean, quiet and considerate as you need a guest to be.
Love to teach and learn; which includes language and music.
A good conversation, or your money back ;)
