I have been an avid traveler my whole life, growing up in a military family. We moved across the United States multiple times and that spirit of travel to explore different cultures has stuck with me. Now on my own I have moved across the country several more times and I'm finally getting the chance to explore beyond our great country to Europe for this first time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I have always thought of travel as a means to discover how other people around the world live their lives and think about different issues/topics. Because of this I think staying with local hosts helps to give a better sense of a place I am visiting rather than staying in a hotel/hostel every night.
