Good evening Melbournians.
I am in quite an unconventional situation and am looking for suggestions. I am currently walking across the continent (bottom to top) with my canine companion, Bear. We are only weeks away from completing the Tasmanian leg of our journey, before tackling the 5000km the mainland has to offer. Having heard so much about Melbourne, and experienced so little, we (Bear and I) have decided to spend a month exploring the city.
Our usual arrangement is sleeping in a tent, in the bush. However I feel this method isn't very applicable to the city, therefore we are looking for something more conventional for our brief stay.
One can't be blamed for assuming such a duo would be an uncivilized tragedy, however we are both very tidy and extensively house trained. Of course this is what any wandering nomad seeking shelter would have you believe... but believe it or not, there was a house dwelling era in the not so distant past in which I could gather some references.
If anybody could help a wandering snow dog and his human companion find a space to call their own during our visit, it would be much appreciated! Thank you.
