I love meeting new people and love to laugh and enjoy life. I'm 67 so i've been around the block a few times.
I love to stay in shape, you see, i'm trying to live forever...
I grew up in Barbados and really took advantage of the climate, I spent most of my time outside at the beach in the water, surfing, sailing, swimming, spearfishing, waterskiing etc...
I moved to Toronto where I went to college and worked in the hospitality industry.
I've worked in the finest places in Barbados, Mustique, Toronto and now Stockholm.
I've been married twice and see no reason to do it again. I have two beautiful daughters and two grand children in Toronto....I have a son in Stockholm, he can't be with me in Barbados, so i'm in Stockholm to be with him. I have three brothers in Barbados and I go there every chance I get to see them.

I now live in Rinkeby, some people call it the ghetto of Stockholm, I find it to be dynamic and family oriented and quite stimulating to live here; it's rich in African and Middle Eastern culture. I wrote a book two years ago, it's called Black In Sweden; I'm in the process of writing another more black in Sweden, Rinkeby is rich for my research.

I share a large apartment with a fellow Barbadian; he is very cool and loves life; he travels a lot and is always away, either in Barbados, Trinidad, Ibitza or at some friends house chilling out.
My living room is large with a comfy couch and a day bed. It has a balcony which overlooks Spànga and Bromma. We have two bathrooms and two bedrooms....The living room is for our guests...:-)....

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was 17years old, a friend and I hitchhiked on a banana boat to St. Vincent to go surfing and seek adventure. My friend and I slept on the beach for a few nights.
On the third night there was thunder and lightning and torrents of rain, we were wet and scared, so we knocked on the door of the first house we came to; they let us in and offered us their couch..... We remain friends till this day.
This memory has stayed with me and I have always been generous with travelers.
