Hello! We are Patrick and Gilles.

We moved to Switzerland in 2022 after being stuck in Singapore for 2 years due to the pandemic. We live just outside Zurich as we wanted to have one foot in nature and one in the city.

We live in Singapore for nearly 8 years and loved it, but it became clear to us that it was time for a change.

We have a passion for travel and go to as many places as we can. We like to meet people and have friends all over the world.

While we were backpacking around a lot of the world (2007 to 2008 ) we used to Couch surf a lot. Now we want to pay back in some way. So many people have helped us out in the world in one way or another; we want to do the same!

We used to host loads back when we lived in Jersey in the UK, and we missed it so we are back!

We prefer to host gay males and male couples.

Sometimes, when you can't travel, it's nice when the travelling comes to you.

When we travel we always actively seek to connect with members of the local gay community and support local LGBT+ establishments. We are happy to help travellers do this in our corner of the world too.

Switzerland is very expensive and we hope to help others love a place which gives us so much joy and that we now call home.

Music: Eurovision! Anything cheesy and fun. People can’t have attitude when they dance to S Club 7.

Movies: Connie and Carla, Marvel Superheroes, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Muriel’s Wedding, Too Wong Foo Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar, Rocky Horror Picture Show... (you get the idea!!)

Books: fantasy and magic, biographies, etc

Just one?!
We climbed Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia which was spectacular.
We’ve seen Bette Midler in Hello Dolly which was exhilarating
One of us has done the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb
We’ve both done a sky dive in NZ
We’ve hiked the Inca trail
We’ve performed in local theatre groups
Our aim is to climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every rainbow... (if you know those lyrics then we’ll get on well!)
