About Me
Where should I begin... humm... Hi! I guess…
I'm coming from a small region in Quebec and I decided to move to Montreal 4 years ago to study in construction engineering. Now that my bachelor just finished, I need to find a job! But before, what’s important to me now is travelling! Of course I haven’t waited for the end of my school to start flying everywhere, cause it would have been painful! I think that I started to like to travel when I got here, in Montreal. Not that I wasn’t thinking of it, but it wasn’t necessary. It’s completely different now! I feel like I need to go everywhere! (Am I putting too much exclamation mark?)
It’s always hard to describe yourself… I feel like I’m writing a motivation letter to join with my resume! :P I would start by mentioning that I’m very motivated in everything I do. I like to take my time and appreciate things! I’m respectful and open minded. When I travel, I love to make new friends and learn from them. I’m excited about knowing new cultures, different ways to see life, see how people live in their country, etc. Also, I like to talk about my country too. Different opinions create good conversation, according to me. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m not on CouchSurfing to save money. Well….ok a little bit! BUT THAT IS NOT THE MAIN REASON!!! I want to connect with the locals and see how they live! I want to learn things that you can’t find in your Lonely Planet. I used to travel without CouchSurfing before and it was harder to find local’s houses to stay. But when I succeeded, it was such a great experience! I’ve never been disappointed. Now that I have discovered an easier way to meet locals and share with them, I will abuse of it!
Interests
I guess that writing that I like to travel in this section would be... predictable? :P
I like to do sports, to be active. I like to try something new when I have the opportunity. It doesn’t have to be special, just a new restaurant, a new sport or even a new recipe will do! I spend a lot of time with my friends and I hang out with them often. I also like to be alone and take time for myself to read, watch a movie or just lay on the couch… :P
