Overview
About Me
I'm a musician and musicologist from Switzerland. I work as a busker and receptionist in a hostel. I love to meet new people and share one's experiences in life.
Generally I'm a happy-go-lucky person. I enjoy parties as much as watching movies, go bbq-ing in a forest or playing card or board games (I'm a bit nerdy sometimes. MtG anyone?).
I don't like to be a burden to anybody, so I'm quite "independent". But I really love to hang out, talk about one's passions, play games or of course go for a pint and a good night out on the streets. And playing music together.
My "main" instrument is bagpipes (Irish, German and Galician - no Scottish!). I also play guitar, mandolin, whistles, shamisen, didgeridoo and a bit of percussion.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to nearly every genre. Some of my all time favorite bands are Linkin Park, Parov Stelar, Uriah Heep, Abney Park, The Dubliners, Inner Circle... And many more.
Movies: Ghibli/ Disney/ Animated Stuff, Everything Star Wars, Everything Lord of the Rings, Most Marvel Movies, Inside Llewyn Davis... And many more.
Books: Everything H. P. Lovecraft, Some Terry Pratchett, The Hobbit, The Little Prince, The Island of Dr Moreau and some other by H. G. Wells. Generally Short Stories / Myths and Legends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic music theory and the instruments I'm playing (I usually have at least one with me).
I also can teach one of the most useless languages in the world: Swiss German. Useless but funny.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Give me a guitar and I'll make music for you all night long. And I can cook.
Also since I'm swiss I'll usually embrace the cliché and bring along some Swiss Chocolate!
