I am Patrick Tan, from Penang , Malaysia.

I am currently an engineer working in the manufacturing industry. I am an enthusiastic person who loves traveling and sharing my experiences with everyone. I had done 3 months of backpack travel in 9 European countries. Aside from that, I had trips to United States, Melbourne, Australia, Taiwan, Thailand. I have met a lot of people with different thoughts during my journey.

Due to the pandemic, my previous trips were all canceled. I am visiting Europe & UK in March and looking forward to visiting places like London, Barcelona & Rome. I had 3 great experiences in CouchSurfing back in my trip to Europe (Germany, Austria and Hungary), I hope to meet new people and make friends along my journey!

Facts about me, I am a person who is talkative. I like to share everything about myself with others. I am a easy going person and have lots of laughters at most time. I like to listen to people's experiences during their traveling, what they experienced and learned.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to know more about the local cultures and exchange my experiences with people. I am willing to share about my local cultures, practices and habits in my country. I believe this is how people should interact by understand respective cultures.

Apart from that, I am a sociable person who like to make friends no matter in anywhere. I can make friends easily whereby I like to talk with people with lots of fun and jokes.
