Currently traveling/volunteering through Central and South America until May 2014. I'd like to meet passionate and adventurous people, immerse myself in local cultures, and truly experience the beauty of Latin America

ABOUT ME

Hey Everybody,

My name is Patrick Williams. I'm originally from northern California near the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I finished my studies at UC Berkeley and have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to travel and volunteer throughout Central and South America before I begin work as a special education teacher next summer in New Orleans, Louisiana (The Big Easy!). For me life is about adventure and approaching each day with enthusiasm and a desire to learn. I love the outdoors and am hoping to truly see the beauty and natural landscape of Latin America as I go. My goal on this trip is to volunteer along the way, hopefully at various schools and organic farms. I studied environmental sustainability and conservation in school and will be working with special needs kids next year so I'd really like to continue to challenge myself with new experiences in these fields as a travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be traveling until May 2014 so right now I'm only really able to participate as a "surfer" but when I get back to the states next year and find my new place in New Orleans I'm more than happy to host fellow couchsurfers. As a guest, I'm willing to help out with whatever I can for the time I'm there. Ideally I'd like to stay with people who would be happy to help me really experience their hometown and are down to share some good times and new experiences with me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm actually a brand new couchsurfer and have not had my first couchsurfing experience yet but am excited for any experiences that might come my way!
