I'm generous, resourceful, curious, and loyal, among other things.

兴趣

I'm a touring saxophonist/clarinetist. I love to read: Vonnegut, McMurtry, Tolkien, history, McCarthy, westerns and fantasy and everything in between. I love sending postcards, especially to my grandmothers. I love to get to know a city from the inside. My favorite places are usually the spots that are recommended to me by friends/acquaintances or spots that I stumble upon myself. Guidebooks be damned!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first time in the Alps. Gimmelwald, Switzerland. I felt so high just from seeing the mountains that I couldn't stop laughing.
The first time I tasted "Hopalicious" by Madison, WI brewery Ale Asylum. Wisconsin has some of the best breweries on the planet, and I got to know many of them intimately during my 3 years there.
