ABOUT ME

I really like to keep busy with whatever there is to do around town on any given night. I can talk a lot, about all sorts of things. I work as a high school teacher and during the school year that keeps me insanely busy but I love it! I am trying to do as much traveling as I can with each summer break.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of times and surfed a couple of times. I have also attended a few local couchsurfing meet ups! Good times. I am hoping to expand my involvement within the community during my trip to Europe, and once construction is finished at my house start hosting again!

Interests

Going to new places, and exploring, hiking around, eating the local food, absorbing the culture in general. I love checking out new rock climbing locations, both inside and outside. Also playing soccer, disc golf, and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping atop a ridge in Calaveras Big Trees in California, and waking up before the sunrise to watch it creep over the valley while the birds and animals woke up. Watching the hours long sunset on the flat expanses in Klamath Falls, Oregon in Early July.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love hearing about and talking about books of all sorts. Also, I used to coach rock climbing, and go twice a week now, so if you ever fancy giving that a try let me know.
