ABOUT ME
I currently work about half of each year on a research base in Antarctica and travel for the rest of the year. Travelling for me often consists of sitting on a park bench for a few hours or wandering through a new city or town. I tend to move slowly and have missed just about every major attraction everywhere I've been. I'm mostly interested in the minutiae of daily life in places that are unfamiliar to me.

To start, here's why I've not been on couch surfing much: while travelling, I tend to plan no further than the next 30 seconds or so. I enjoy travelling that way quite a bit but I've had some great experiences on couchsurfing so far and have heard so many great things about people's experiences that I'd like to give the whole planning thing a go.

兴趣

I spend quite a bit of time reading and am very curious about a wide range of topics. I tend to go through phases of learning just enough about a given topic to understand just how little I understand. I build guitars and play and sing, and I love sharing music.
