Growing up in a small village in northern Bavaria near Bamberg, i discovered my passion to traveling thanks to my family an the opportunities being a student. With my roots in beautiful Bamberg, which is no1 in the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest number of craft breweries all over the world, i spent all my money on discovering our beautiful planet.

During my studies abroad on the beloved island Ile de la Réunion for a year, i started surfing and diving. The passion of surfing lead me to countries like Mexico, Madagascar, Portugal and a lot more. While spending time in the water and finding the equilibrium of body, nature and thoughts, i enjoy getting to know other cultures, people with interesting mindsets and developing my individual patterns of perception of this world.

My interest in working on the substantial issue of inequality of wealth and opportunities of success brought to interesting places such as New York and Cairo, where i had the opportunity to support the work of the UN and the GIZ. In my current position in one of the biggest scholarship programs in Germany, i work with a great team on supporting young students on their way to university, whose parents didn't study. Working overtime allows me to travel and find a balance between my job and surfing.
