ABOUT US

We are a easy to get along with open-minded german-austrian couple with a great passion for travelling.

Nathalie is a student of law, jewish and middle eastern studies and passionate about languages, especially hebrew and arabic.

Patrick has a background/ PhD in chemistry and has recently founded two software/ data science companies in the accounting and biotech industry (exputec.com, abacus.ac).

Our son Benjamin (4 years old) loves singing, playing board games and reading.
Our son Jonathan (2 years old) is very energetic and loves to climb, move and play.

We are travelling and living together since we first met in Spain and decided to make Vienna our home base. Although we enjoy living in Vienna with all its cultural activities, we love to travel, learn new languages, try to understand other cultures and meet new people.

After having children we took a break from Couchsurfing. Now that they are not babies anymore we think they will benefit greatly.

We slowly want to get back to hosting people. Because of our children and commitments weekends will probably work best for us!

As regards movies we like european films (Haneke- the white ribbon; french comedies: le prénom)) and also enjoy Terry Gilliam films (Fear and Loathing, Brazil), Darren Aronofsky films (Pi, The Fountain), Documentaries (5 broken cameras), lost films (l'heure de la vérité), and many more.
