ABOUT ME

I love, love, love to have a good time: I'm from New Orleans, it's in my blood.
When I go on a vacation, I vacate. Seriously. Give me a beach, some books on my iPad, and a few cocktails, and I'm good to go. I do like to go do some sightseeing and shopping, but I hate to wear myself out on a vacation...because then you'd need a vacation after the vacation just to recover!
I've been blessed to travel the world and meet some really amazing people, yet stay grounded--I'm super down to earth, and I can hold a conversation with pretty much anyone. We all have SOMETHING in common.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I live in typical school-supplied teacher housing, which is a one room apartment across from the campus where I teach. So, I can't host, but if you let me know when you're coming to Korea, I can certainly do my best to meet you and hang out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a Couch Surfing account a while back, but they shut it down due to some inactivity...it was a time when I was traveling, but didn't need to Couch Surf, and no one had hit me up needing accommodations, so I hadn't been on in a while. Hopefully, I can keep this one up, as my traveling has kicked up several notches since I moved abroad.

Although I haven't officially hosted any CouchSurfers yet, I've been hosting folks wherever I've lived for the past 13 years. I'm a great hostess, and I think I'm a pretty great guest as well. :-)

Music: I have almost 22 days worth of music in my iTunes. You can find just about anything in there...it's amazing what happens when I hit "shuffle."
Movies: I love to watch movies, but I don't go to the theater that often, unless it's something that I've REALLY been waiting for. When I do go, however, popcorn and Coke are mandatory. lol
