Hi, Im Patrick, a 23 year old Data Science student from Munich, Germany. In my free time I like doing different kinds of sports, like yoga, MMA, wrestling and cycling . In the summer after finishing university classes I love to go to the so called "english garden", the biggest inner city park in Europe. Its only a 10 minute walk from my University and on hot summer days its awesome to jump into a river called Eisbach (ice river - and yes its very cold glacial water) and just go with the flow. After around 2km of swimming you can get the public transport and do the same again :)

When i was 15 years old I won the Bavarian Wrestling Championship.

I lived in Costa Rica for one year, finishing my 10th grade there. In one of my pictures you can see me with my lovely host family :)

When going to an unknown city its much easier to get to know people and the cooler spots of the city. Unfortunatly I havent been able to make any experiences with couchsurfing so far.

Interessi

As sports I like olympic wrestling, MMA, cyclinga nd going out to the nearby mountains around Munich, or - and this was one of my most amazing experiences - go up to the Cerro Chirripo in Costa Rica, at a height of 3800 meters. From above I could see the sunrise above the pacific ocean, and the stars on the other side.
Recently I'm really into doing big tours by bike. In the past 3 years I went from Geneva to Barcelona, crossed the alps and I've ridden around the Sardinian coast, which was my coolest trip so far.

I enjoy listening to Classic Music, old rap (especially from Spain and Germany ), Lo-Fi, House, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Lamb of God (they used to call themselfes Burn the Priest) and many kinds of electronic music, especially the darker kind of techno that has few things in common with what is considered music or esthetic.

One example:

Climbing the Cerro Chirripó (highest mountain of Costa Rica). After a 9 hour hike (the last part, called the Valley without Hope was very frustrating to walk) I arrived at a cottage at 7pm. Got up at 4.00 AM to climb the last part to the top to see the sunrise from above. Since Costa Rica is a very narrow country surrounded by two Oceans you can see two horizons and watch the sunrise above the ocean on one side and see the starry night (including the milky way) at the same time.
