I've been a Couchsurfing member as a single traveler since 2009. I'm now traveling as a couple with my wife Ladda. I'm French Canadian and she's Thai!

We will be traveling in Southern Florida in December.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've used Couchsurfing for the first time during a 40 days road-trip all around Quebec in 2009. And then we used it extensively during an amazing trip in Europe this year.

Interests

Traveling, history, movies, music, new food, reading, writing, bicycle, hiking, road-trip, hockey, skiing, nature, beaches, mountains, photography, social activities, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have so many unique memories from my trips around the world. But I think one of the most unforgettable experience was to walk around Sittwe in Myanmar, in the middle the Thingyan (burmese New Year, also called "water festival"). That's close to the Bangladesh border. I've never felt so far away from home. But I decided to get a big watergun and walk with it. Imagine being one of the only tourist in a town of 200 000 people, transformed into a giant watergun fight. I was, of course, a prime target. Not sure why, but everybody also wanted to invite me to share a whisky drink. Unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can teach French!
- I can cook a few meals from Quebec, Canada, including the famous "pâté chinois".
- My wife can cook absolutely DELICIOUS thai food.
- I can show you how to play hockey
- I want to write a book someday. Or many books.
- I'm getting better and better at video editing.
