I'm Patrick, 24, live in Diepenbeek Belgium.
I used to work as a purchase planner for a company named JAGA NV.
After 2 years of being a deskdummy I got bored with my job and I decided to go traveling.
I started traveling on the 1st of April and I will be going back home on the 1st of february.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've recently had my first experience with couchsurfing in London.
It was awesome, I hope to have many more in the future!

兴趣

Music is my life! I like to go to concerts and festivals.
When it comes to sports, I play soccer on sunday forenoon and i go running 2 times a week.
Hanging out with friends, play cards, having a drink or partying is what keeps me busy in the weekends.
Lately I'm traveling in SEA.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Being sick of civilisation after 6 days of hiking in the mountains. (got used to civilisation very soon again ;) )

Skiing down the mountain while there was a snowstorm, being a beginner, with 2 days of experience. (terrifying but amazing)

Having breakfast with 8 people of 6 different nationalities at 1 table.

I've had 1 experience with couchsurfing. With UKPILGRIM in London. It was great.
What I learned from this experience, is that couchsurfing is all about having respect for your host/guest. And to be understanding and caring for eachother.
last but not least, being openminded is a must. You can learn so much from other people/cultures, but you have to be willing to learn from them.
