ABOUT ME

I am 28 years old, travelling around for the next 2 years. I have spent the past year in South America, travelling from Colombia to Chile which was incredible. I am currently in New Zealand and will move to Australia after that. I worked in a massive company and then had a mid 20's life crisis, quit, sold all my shit and booked a flight and a life on the other side of the world.... I am a good laugh if I do say so myself and love to meet people and do the Irish thing of drinking too much and talking too much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am definitely quite easy to talk to. I worked in an Irish bar in Peru for 3 months during my time there so good for drinking, making drinks and shit talk. I really want to immerse myself into the local cultures of the places I visit rather than just head to all the backpacker spots. I am really into music, mainly dance and hip-hop now but started off in metal and indie music. I am out of the loop now after one year listening to shit music in South America so happy to hear anything new and good that is shoved in front of me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had an incredible experience in New Zealand and planning on opening up the couch soon enough.

Very much into music, I was a bit of a music nerd before I went travelling. I had my own radio show for a couple of years in Ireland while I was in college and lots of my friends are musicians. I love electronica and certain types of hip-hop but not a fan of the poppy shit. I generally listen to everything with the exception of jazz and country.

I spent three days sleeping on a hammock travelling up the Amazon with a load of local people on my way to Iquitos in Peru. It was fairly cool.
