About Me

ABOUT ME

I guess I`m uncomplicated, interested in a lot of different things and curious what's life about. Sometimes I`m in search of something and sometimes not.

PHILOSOPHY

Mhmm, I’m not sure if I‘m having a Philosophy in my life. For sure it’s not a very stable one. At the moment I try to follow the instincts as good as I can and I quite often think that „less is more“.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY DO I COUCHSURF?

Meeting unknown people and sharing a couple of moments together that's something I'm really interested in. Aswell it's a great opportunity to get to know local people who are able to give me an authentic and real impression of the place I'm visiting and its people.

So far I only stayed three times on a couch. But I always had a really good time there with lovely and interesting people. I’m very grateful for that.

Interests

I'm interested in quite a lot of things. Actually I think, I'm interested in too many things. That makes it sometimes hard to decide. At the moment I’m enjoying trying out different forms and styles of moving/dancing like contact improvisation, butoh, contemporary dance.
I like meeting people with different ideas about life, people with different stories and different backgrounds. When I'm in a foreign country I most enjoy being somewhere else and trying to get a deep impression of the place, its people, culture and daily life. For that reason I really like Couchsurfing because it gives me the opportunity to experience all the things I just wrote about...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love small little live concerts with people playing real instruments... and a lot of different bands and music styles, who are able to make move something in the in- and outside. Some music I’m recently enjoying a lot: the war on drugs, devendra banhart, andrea laszlo de simone, haruka nakamura, fatoumata diawara sowa, hermanos gutierrez, his golden messenger, fémina, edward sharpe & the magnetic zeroes, daniel norgren, the low anthem, onda vaga, etc…

I like books from Haruki Murakami, Hermann Hesse, Banana Yoshimoto and more...

Movies… I liked „Drive my car“.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying for a longer time in South America was a great experience which somehow planted a lot of new and different seeds somewhere in the inside.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can climb up trees together, enjoying the view from above and having a chat up there... But it's also okay, if we don't do that. The other option would be a good chat during a simple and delicious meal… :)
