Patrick, 26 years old with Polish heritage, grew up in Germany.

I started to admire travelling with the age of 16 after my high school year in Austin, Texas. First time being independent gave me a push of exploring more. Ever since I took every opportunity of traveling by my self to several destinations.

One of the greatest travel experiences was actually through Couchsurfing. First time in Japan and first time using the platform formed a great friendship.

3 years later and 2 more visits to Japan and several other countries like Costa Rica, Mexiko, Israel, USA, I lost my job as a restaurant manager because of the Covid-19 crisis. Now I think it's the perfect time for me traveling the world with only one large backpack and find a spot somewhere to open up my own little cafe or restaurant in the future.
I would be thankful if you find some time to show me your culture and your way of live.

In Polish we say, "Przyszłość zaczyna się nie dziś, nie jutro", which translates to "The future starts today, not tomorrow".
