About Me
Hi there,
I'm Kiwi and I was born in Slovakia. Although none of my parents are Slovak, I feel very special about Slovakia. I've spent 25 years living there and now it's time to move on.
I like to hitchhike, travel a lot, meet new people, see new places and hang out. I love good music, fresh food, hot sun, hiking, sports and positive vibrations. I enjoy exploring places I've never been before and sleeping in the afternoon.
I have a friendly and social personality, I enjoy talking to people if I can (the language is sometimes an obstacle to overcome) and usually people enjoy talking to me as well. I am calm and very patient, however my patience is not infinite. If it runs out, I am not calm nor talkative anymore, even though it does not happen often. I am maintaining a strictly positive attitude and my actions reflect what I feel and think.
I am studying business and my ultimate goal for now is to finish my university studies. Right now I am studying in Spain, looking forward to get to know the Spanish culture and cuisine.
My semester starts in september and I have almost two months to look around, practice my Spanish and see as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got some recommendations to join Couchsurfing from my friends before and I would like to travel through Spain for the next two months so this would be a nice way to get to know some places and people. However meeting this inspirational Estonian-Russian couchsurfer, who stayed at my girlfriend's place a few weeks ago was the true reason to register and join this site.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't like reggae, I love it.
My favourite music is good music, catchy riddim and a melodic tune is all that you need for the music to be worth listening to. Anything from 60's rock, salsa, classical music, heavy metal, skA, african folk, drum'n'bass, electro music, punk, hardcore, flamenco, dancehall or music by the fireplace. All of this is my favourite music in the right moment.
I don't watch movies too much and I haven' t seen most of the newest ones, but I love the new X-Men movie. My all time favourite director is Stanley Kubrick, with his Clockwork Orange being my favourite movie. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Shawshank Redemtion, Green Mile and the Star Wars are definitely my top favourite movies. You can get a nice picture together out of these.
As far as books go, my favourite author is E. Hemingway. I used to study journalism because of this guy and he is inspiration for my writing up until today. I like reading Russian authors as well, F. Dostoyevski, M. Bakunin, L. Tolstoi and N. Gogol. My all time favourite book is The Little Prince by A. de Saint-Exupéry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Brought smile to a lovely face.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a language you have never heard before.
I would like to learn to drum like Mike Portnoy.
I share, 'cause sharing is caring.
