I believe there is no such thing as being 100% introverted or 100% extroverted; we’re all somewhere in between. I’d probably place myself right in the middle. Meeting new people gives me energy, inspiration, and a whole range of warm, positive feelings. On the other hand, I also love spending time on my own — developing my passions, treating myself to delicious food, exploring new or familiar places, and discovering both the beauty and the sadness of the world in solitude.

There are so many amazing ways to travel. My favorite one is probably by bicycle. I recently started sharing videos from my trips.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I know people are complaining that “CS is not the same as it used to be” or that “people here are totally different now,” which is actually true (eh, those endless copy-paste couch requests). But STILL - it’s wonderful that hanging out with people from so many places around the globe is so easy! I’ve already met a lot of cool people through this website, so I’m really thankful and want to continue.

Interessen

One of my biggest passions in recent years has been learning foreign languages. Finding different words to express my thoughts and getting to know other cultures through their languages is one of the most beautiful things I’ve discovered for myself in this world.

Another passion that I developed, partly thanks to the covid pandemic, is reading books. Apart from the obvious benefits, such as gaining knowledge and expanding my vocabulary, reading gives me a deeper understanding of human nature and makes me more sensitive, creative, and grateful for the life I have.

I’m not musically gifted, and as a teenager I didn’t develop my apparent drawing skills, so I can’t really do it anymore. However, I admire all kinds of art — painting, sculpture, theatre, music, films, etc. — and while traveling, I always try to experience as much of it as I can.

Cooking and eating give me a lot of joy. Sometimes it’s hard to say which one I like more. At the same time, I do enjoy junk food and sometimes can’t stop my cravings 🙂 melted cheese… mmmm.

If I were to spontaneously name three things I love in life, they would be:
